  • On load, the app calls GET /projects/{project_id}/budget and GET /projects/{project_id}/budget/sections/{section_config_id}/expenses to display the scope breakdown by section with line-item expenses.
  • User can drill into a section and edit line items via the data-field editor (screen 24).
  • User can confirm the scope breakdown; on confirm the app calls POST /projects/{project_id}/budget/confirm and advances to Step 5 (reconciliation).
  • System blocks confirmation if any required budget section is empty or contains invalid values.
